If you're not familiar with the Marlborough region, and you plan to stay a while, you may need some help finding all the great things to check out while you're here, and of course - you can always check out the maps page if you'd like to know where things are.

For those staying in the region a while why not checkout:

• Blenheim's many Wineries, the Prenzel Distillery, Brayshaw Park, Pollard Park or a Paddle boat cruise down the Opawa River.
• Pictons Aquarium or tour the Edwin Fox. Picton is also the gateway to the Marlborough Sounds for charter cruises and fishing trips. Picton is only 25 minutes drive north
• If you'd like to 'duck over the hill' to Nelson, you can stroll along Tahuna Beach or check out Founders Park, Miyazu Gardens or the Historic Homes. Walk to the Centre of NZ or browse the Craft Habitat, Hogland Glass and the many wineries (they are nearly as good as the Marlborough's). Nelson is just 1 1/2 hours drive North West.
• Kaikoura and the whale watching/swimming with Dolphins and Seals are 1 1/2 hours drive south of Blenheim.
