The Inskeep Family in New Zealand

Photos are up!

December 18th, 2009

Hi all,

Just letting you know that we’ve loaded all the photos that I’ve received from the reunion to the online photo sharing service ‘Flickr’* – you can follow the links on this page to see individual sets, or click here to view the entire collection. I have only removed ‘accidental’ or out of focus shots so you will probably see quite a few double-ups.

If you have photos of the event you’d like me to upload for you, email them (without making them smaller if possible) to:

send.photos

*For those of you using Telecom/Xtra as an ISP, you will have Flickr Pro membership included as part of the bundled services with your account – it’s a great place to store your photos safely should you lose your images from your home PC. You can hide all photos from public view or select certain images to be available to all.

What’s On

September 25th, 2009

[Content migrated from the old site at reunion.inskeep.net]

Rotorua, Rotovegas – however you know the city, there’s a wealth of activities to do here.

  • Of special note to the families will be the Santa Parade which starts at around midday on the 5th.
  • For the more adventurous, there is always the Luge which is always more fun in a group, and with a compeditive mindset. Leave your fancy gears at the hotel though as the ride does get hairy when you’re pushing it…
  • There’s the Kawarau Jet
  • For those who want a bit more of a sedate form of entertainment, you can check out things such as the Buried Village, Hells Gate or you can treat yourself to some time at the Waikite Valley Thermal Pools or the Polynesian Spa (just no sticking your head under the water, k?)

If you want to get interactive, the map below may also be a good place to start…

A website is born…

August 18th, 2009

[Content migrated from the old site at reunion.inskeep.net]

Okay, so things aren’t too flash just yet (actually, they may never be) but I was so enthused by Christines email organising a family reunion, that I’ve put together a website to try and help out.

So far, we’re simply grabbing details so – if you are an Inskeep and would like to register to the site, we’ve got a few extra pages under your profile which will let us capture some information from you. Hopefully we will be able to use this to fill out our family tree a little more.

Any problems, please contact either Christine or myself.

Cheers,

Rob Inskeep
